In 1966, WPIX in New York broadcast a video loop of a burning Yule log on Christmas Eve, creating a tradition that has stood the test of time and, it seems, technical advances. In 2007, we have iYule, a 30-minute downloadable video of a burning yule log for cell phones, computers and HDTVs.
