While the Microsoft Zune may be focusing on providing WiFi love to the world of MP3 players, Panasonic has taken the route of Bluetooth for their D-Snap SV-SD950N. Sure, the model number may not exactly roll off the tongue, but you've got to love the "urban" feel of the model line: D-Snap.

I'M NOT exactly an iDiot longing for an iPod or queing overnight for an iPhone - even though I did play with an i486 in my younger days - but, being here in Singapore, I couldn't miss Creative's launch of yet another iPod competitor, the newest Zen video multimedia play gadget, whose news release we covered earlier today.

Velvet Revolver will host a charity event tomorrow night in Minneapolis, following their concert with Alice In Chains . The band will honor drummer Matt Sorum 's late brother Daniel , who passed away from cancer at the age of 11. The VIP event will include a silent auction of items from VR and AIC and benefit the Daniel J. Sorum Memorial Scholarship Fund, which will benefit his former school.
