So the Zune 2 launched . And while the new models are a definite improvement on the last version of the Zune (and by the way, Microsoft made all the Zune 2 features available through software updates on old Zunes, which was super classy), I was hoping we'd see new Xbox 360 integration with the device.

(Holger) Die erste Version von Microsofts mobilem MP3- und Video-Player hat es offiziell nicht über den großen Teich geschafft. Ob das Schicksal für die angeblich für den 16. Oktober geplante zweite Version besser ausfällt und man ihn auch hier kaufen können wird ist bislang nicht bekannt. Aber immerhin gibt es schon mal ein paar neue Details.

The next-generation of Apple iPod players has arrived. People are clamoring over the cuteness of the new iPod nano and the sleekness of the iPod touch. Microsoft must respond to the new iPods and apparently they're going to do it on October 16th with a new family of Zune portable media players.

Nokia used to be just a cellphone maker. Google used to be just an Internet company. Now Nokia wants to be an Internet company and Google, according to rampant speculation among bloggers and technology analysts, may be about to enter the mobile phone fray. ... Microsoft's Zune music player already allows wireless sharing of songs - at least those without digital copy protection - between devices.
