If you have a smart phone, The Florida Times-Union has an app for you. Five of them. The newspaper's Jacksonville.com offers apps for Android, BlackBerry, iPhone, and Windows Mobile phones and has one on the way for the Palm webOS.

Many in the tech world are skeptical that Windows 7 would really catch on as a tablet operating system. Apple's iPad uses the same touch-optimized iOS that runs on the iPhone. Many manufacturers are selecting Google's mobile OS, Android, as their platform of choice. And it seems Windows Phone 7 would be fitting for slates.
