Microsoft’s Zune media player available in Nov. for $249.99 (Market Watch)

LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) -- Microsoft Corp. on Thursday said it would launch its hotly awaited Zune digital-media player and a related media download service in mid-November as it begins in earnest a head-to-head challenge to Apple Computer Inc.'s popular iPod and iTunes online media store.
